Apparently not interested in maintaining comfortable relations between Americans and their Mexican neighbors, the lead singer of the popular Mexican rock band Maná stated "We're peacefully taking back what the U.S. took from us." "You remember the history of Mexico, how the U.S. took all the northern part of it, almost all, all of this area, belonged to us. They took it, really they robbed it. But now we're taking it back. It's incredible what's going on in the U.S., now that the Latino culture is gaining a lot of power," he said. The entire story is available (in Spanish) from Agencia EFE. Oddly enough, the story hasn't been picked up at all by the American media.
